It is somewhat a well-known fact that Rekha Thapa is one of the most popular actresses in the show business. She is one of the few successful actresses to lead the film industry.  Apart from her movie career, she also has promising potential in politics. People used to go to the cinema only after seeing their favorite male actors in the olden days. Female leads didn't get much exposure or space in the movies poster. 

Even if they did, they shared their space with the actors. Rekha changed the track of the Nepalese movie industry by becoming the first female lead whose picture was printed on the posters with priority.

 The same poster was responsible for attracting and retaining audiences in the cinemas. But, some might even say that it is not big of a deal to print the picture on the posters if you are the one who made the movie. Rekha would answer, "Women are not weak. Do people think we invest in movies because we have more money than we know what to do with?" Answers like these would seem to shut the critics up.

 The same rational and logical Rekha can now be seen in Nepali politics. When she entered the political party, it was of utmost importance. And she has been dedicating herself to the defense of her party like she is the spokesperson. Her analytical and critical analysis skill is why Rekha is famous outside the show business.

 He agrees with one or two agendas of our party. In fact, the agenda about our country being a Hindu Nation as opposed to a secular one is being raised by KP Oli. Why should I go to UML carrying our agenda? It would be a lot better if they came." She leaves Rishi Dhamala at the end of his wits. 

It is not uncommon for party leaders to use artists at conventions to gather audiences, and people generally came to see their favorite actress on stage. However, party leaders have prioritized Rekha speaking because of her ability to speak logically. Rekha is a central member of the party.
